Schematic: one of Ad Age’s Next In Line

schematicadweek.jpg

There’s a great piece on Schematic in the newly released “Digital A-List 2008: Next in Line” Special Report.

Here’s an excerpt:

“Is Schematic a technology company or a creative shop? Does it really matter? As marketers have begun to think about advertising differently — not just as pushing messages out to consumers but as providing value and functionality and becoming a media vehicle in its own right — the shop has found itself in the right place at the right time. ”

This is fabulous publicity for Schematic and indicative of our rise to international prominence. Check out the complete 2008 Next in Line article here.

WPP’s Maerov: Acquiring Schematic Was Vital To Winning Dell, AT&T

Don’t miss today’s Online Media Daily article in which Lance Maerov, WPP’s SVP, corporate development, is noted as saying that Schematic was key to WPP’s winning of the multi-billion AT&T and Dell accounts late in 2007. The article draws attention to Schematic’s unique role within the WPP family: providing clients with strategic interactive experiences.

From the article:

“According to [Schematic CEO Trevor] Kaufman, part of the success stemmed from Schematic’s ability to complement the core pitch agencies with design and technology solutions, in addition to creative and strategic insights. ‘Dell and AT&T are both companies who aren’t just broadcasting messages to clients using digital media, they’re offering services and value to clients through the digital channel,’ Kaufman said. ‘They needed a bit more than just ‘online advertising,’ and that is the approach we wanted to bring to the pitch processes.’”

Andrew Solmssen interviewed on “TV of Tomorrow”

Be sure to listen to EVP Andrew Solmssen’s new interview on “The TV of Tomorrow Show with Tracy Swedlow.” Andrew talks about Schematic’s recent acquisition by WPP, our amazing work in interactive and broadband TV,  new developments in navigation, and much more. Hear the interview here.
